UGG

UGG was founded in 1978 by Perth-born Brian Smith and Doug Jensen, who were inspired by the sheepskin footwear popular in the Australian surfing community and wanted to create their own styles. Originally stocked in Southern Californian surf shops, the label began to gain recognition in 1994 when its Classic boots were worn by the USA winter sports Olympic team.
